Working from home is easier than ever in 2019.
More than that, it actually makes sense.
The traditional “nine to five” work week is quickly becoming completely obsolete, as more people are:
• setting their own hours,
• being their own bosses, and…
• creating their own home businesses.
The great thing about a home business is that they often require almost no initial investment.
Do you have a laptop with a stable internet connection?
If so, you have everything you need to start your own business and work from home.
If you can afford a coffee every single day, you can probably afford to start any of these home businesses.
If you want to start a small side-business that requires only a few hours of investment, there’s a business idea which fits your schedule.
And if you’re ready to dive headfirst into your home business with a full-time commitment…
There’s plenty of business plans for you as well; especially if you’re trying to find the best business to start with little money.
That’s the beauty of home businesses and part-time businesses for sale – they’re all incredibly flexible.
When you start a home business, you get to design your own ideal lifestyle, balancing…
• play, and…
Many people get to spend way more time with their family and loved ones when they start a part-time business from home.
Others find that they have the freedom to pursue new hobbies or travel the world at the drop of a hat.
As long as you organize your home business effectively, you can live your life to the fullest while still earning great money.
With all that said, running a home business isn’t a complete cakewalk.
Starting a business of any kind is exhaustive work, whether it’s a massive tech corporation or a small craft business from home.
Many people incorrectly assume that working from home means you get to lie in bed all day and watch Netflix without doing any actual work.
In reality, this couldn’t be more extreme from the truth.
You’ll probably discover that working from home is harder than your typical nine to five, especially in the early stages.
Many entrepreneurs work 12 hours a day (or more) as they desperately try to get their businesses off the ground.
But while your home business might be harder than a typical office job, it’s also much more rewarding.
As long as you’re passionate about your home business, it won’t really feel like work.
You’ll be building a project that you care deeply about, and you’ll feel motivated to put in those extra hours. It’s all about having the drive for success.
Without that drive and passion, your home business will probably fall flat on its face.
So, as you read through these ten options for affordable home businesses, think carefully about which ones truly inspire you.
Pick a home business you see yourself enjoying ten years from now.
That’s advice coming from someone who has actually been operating a multiple 6 figure laptop-based business for several years now.
Think about the possibilities of local lead generation for just a moment here…
• Produce referrals from digital assets that you’ve ranked at the top of search results.
• Leveraging that valuable real estate that you now consume, pass the buyers on to someone else to actually provide the fulfillment of the service.
• Grab a slice of the pie and repeat the process for more profits.
Sound too good to be true?
Uber, Lyft, Airbnb, and many others have already been proving that this kind of business model works…
Getting to be the middle person and connection point between buyers and service providers has its rewards.
Imagine a world where you’re collecting passive income because of automated systems you’ve established early on in your business venture…
While you’re no longer building them – and hardly requiring any maintenance….
They’re still paying you anywhere from $3,000 to as low as $750 per lead gen site per month.
I’ll take that any day over the low rent apartment I was living in a while working a corporate 9 to 5 in Detroit, Michigan…
In fact, I started with this local lead generation coaching program in my spare time as I worked long weeks in my full-time career lifestyle.
When the passive income nest egg began to compete – and match…
The annual salary, then I knew I could have options with how I chose to spend the hours in my days…
I chose to leave the full-time corporate life and never look back.
Today, I own and oversee a multiple 6 figure business operation that requires hardly any time out of my day.
The 5 people that I have working for me are remotely located and very skilled at their respective craft…
So, I know the job is getting done, and I can just check in with them on occasion.

While the best business ideas to make money might sound profitable or easy, these aren’t the only factors you should take into consideration.
Search for that spark of inspiration and intrigue as you read about a particular home business.
When you feel inspired and passionate, you know you’ve stumbled upon an idea that could be rewarding and satisfying.
Here are ten home businesses that could help you begin a new chapter in your life:
1. Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing can be one of the most commonly recommended online businesses for new entrepreneurs.
This business is very easy to start and requires a minuscule investment.
You won’t need to learn highly technical skills, and the potential for profit is quite high.
Although many people are getting involved in affiliate marketing these days, there’s always room for new entrepreneurs.
But what is affiliate marketing?
This business revolves around selling other people’s products.
You’ll promote specific items on a blog, YouTube channel, or social media account, and provide links to those products. You might also provide promo codes.
When customers follow these links and use these promo codes, they’ll have the option to purchase the products.
If they click “buy,” you’ll instantly earn a commission of that sale.
If thousands of people are buying products through your links, you’ll quickly earn an insane amount of income with minimal effort.
In order to succeed with this business, you’ll need a large online audience.
The more people who see your affiliate links, the more potential sales you’ll make.
In order to establish a large audience, you’ll need to create some high-ranking, interesting content.
Most affiliate marketers rely on blogs to promote products and publish content.
Blogs are highly profitable business ventures, and you should seriously think about starting one – even if you’re not interested in affiliate marketing.
If affiliate marketing is your main strategy for blogging income, then you should target potentially profitable niches.
Examples would be hiking, cooking, or soccer.
Sometimes, it makes sense to target niches with very little competition.
For example, you might want to target completely obscure niches with relatively small audiences.
Even though these products might be obscure, you’ll deal with less competition.
This means that all the internet traffic surrounding these products is directed straight to your blog.
There are all kinds of different strategies when it comes to affiliate marketing, and tons of different products.
Some of the major brands in the world now have affiliate programs, and you can promote pretty much any product imaginable.
This includes digital products such as eBooks, online courses, and software.
These are often some of the most profitable affiliate marketing products available.
It definitely makes sense to create content that you’re passionate about.
Remember, the key to affiliate marketing is establishing a large audience.
If your content seems boring or lackluster, it won’t attract many people.
On the other hand, content which is clearly passionate and interesting should immediately attract tons of attention.
When you’re writing about niches and products that excite you, those emotions come across clearly to the audience.
When you get excited about products, so do they.
Blogging isn’t the only way to earn income through affiliate marketing.
Social media accounts and YouTube channels also have high potential in the affiliate world.
You can create affiliate marketing income streams around almost any type of online content – even with podcasts and less popular social media sites like Pinterest.
But no matter what method you choose with this business, the overall strategy remains the same.
Create awesome content, grow your audience, and promote interesting, exciting products.
Follow this simple formula, and you should be earning solid income in no time with your affiliate marketing business.
While the internet certainly makes working from home easier, you don’t have to build your entire business around your computer.
There are plenty of “hands-on” businesses you can run from home, and a tutoring business is a great option.
With this business, you’ll be helping children and students in your community with their coursework. You might also help them study for big tests or provide guidance with university applications.
You’ll need considerable experience in the education industry to succeed here.
Perhaps you used to be a teacher, or you have experience in one particular subject.
It’s also not very hard to study and learn concepts that young children might be learning.
As long as you’re a helpful and friendly teacher, you should be able to succeed with this business.
This business is easy to start and requires zero initial investment.
But if you’re acting as an independent tutor, you might not earn as much money as some of the other home business ideas in this article.
While acting as an independent, in-person tutor might be an easy method, there are many ways to grow this business and take your income potential to the next level.
In 2019, there’s a massive demand for online tutors and virtual classroom instructors.
If you don’t have extensive knowledge of math, science, and other subjects, you can simply teach English.
English lessons are in huge demand across the world, and millions of children are trying to learn this language.
Online English courses are much more cost-effective than in-person lessons, and many people are choosing this option today.
There are many online tutoring platforms you can join and earn a solid income as an English teacher.
Alternatively, you could create your own competing platform, stealing business away from the other companies, and establishing a name for yourself in this lucrative industry.
There’s obviously much more profit potential with this method, although it’s definitely more challenging.
When you establish your own tutoring company and your own online platform, you can recruit other tutors and earn money without personally teaching classes.
This is a great option if you eventually see yourself stepping back from your business and letting it “run itself.”
Tutoring is an industry with massive potential and proven profits in 2019.
Whether you’re running this home business online or in-person, it’s definitely a very promising choice for the right entrepreneur.
If you’re passionate about photography, you might consider starting your own photography business from home.
If you already have relatively modern and advanced camera equipment, then this business should cost almost nothing to start up.
As long as you have the skills, knowledge, and the necessary equipment, you can earn a solid income through a variety of different photography businesses.
One option is to start an Event Photography business.
Weddings, parties, and other events need photographers to walk around and take pictures of everyone enjoying themselves.
With the rise of social media, there’s an even bigger demand for these businesses.
People can’t wait to post high-quality pictures of their events on social media, and paying hired photographers allows them to do this without taking pictures themselves.
There are plenty of other business ideas which revolve around photography.
You might choose to set up a home studio and take headshots for realtors, actors, and other professionals that rely on an attractive image.
You might also decide to specialize in product photography.
Coordinate with small local brands and take high-quality images of their products, which they can post on their online store.
You can even pursue a part-time photography business by posting your photos to stock image websites.
When someone uses your image, you earn a fee.
This business has endless possibilities, and you can take it in multiple directions.
There are also copious amounts of opportunities for growth.
By simply purchasing a more advanced and specialized camera equipment, you’ll provide a better end product and appeal to a wider, more professional audience.
You can even hire photographers as employees as your business grows to a certain size.
If you’re passionate about photography, we definitely recommend starting your own photography business from home.
While selling products online might sound like a complex and demanding business, it could be a lot easier than you think.
This is a great business to start from home, and there are plenty of success stories of entrepreneurs becoming millionaires by selling stuff on Amazon, eBay, Etsy, or any of the other major eCommerce platforms.
You will have to commit a little into this business to get it off the ground, so this business might not be great for those who want to spend zero cash on their new business.
That being said, your initial investments don’t have to be huge.
You might even experiment with eCommerce by selling items you find in your own house. Selling used phones or electronics on eBay could be an excellent way to get started.
Once you’ve earned a little extra cash with this method, invest that profit into buying new products.
Just browse the clearance section down at your local department store.
Figure out which products might be profitable to sell on Amazon and stock up on as many items as possible.
Sell those products on Amazon with FBA and earn hundreds of dollars with only a few hours work.
As you get deeper into the eCommerce world, you might decide to create your own products or buy products in bulk for even bigger profit margins.
We’re making this entire business sound pretty easy – but eCommerce is honestly one of the most challenging business models out there right now. In order to succeed with this business, you’ll need to bring some serious skills to the table.
The top eCommerce professionals know how to analyze data, identify trends, and calculate which products might be profitable. This is a full-time job, especially when you start creating your own products.
For those that want a challenge, eCommerce is an awesome route for an online business.
5. Create Information Products
We previously touched on the profitability of digital products, and this an excellent choice for a profitable home business.
Some of the easiest digital products to make are informational products. These are things like PDFs, online guides, and even online courses.
If you have some expertise on a particular subject, you could earn a hefty income by simply creating one of the information products which explains the subject matter in detail.
People are always willing to pay for information and knowledge. The great thing about knowledge is that you don’t have to pay for it. This product already exists in intellectual form.
Basically, you can make it consumable for the masses.
A PDF is incredibly easy, while guides and courses take a little more effort. With platforms like Udemy, creating a course is actually easier than you might think.
You may read this and think to yourself, “I can’t create informational products – I’m not an expert on anything!”
Let’s be clear – everyone’s an expert on something. Your knowledge might not be based on popular topics like the stock market or fitness, but that doesn’t mean your expertise is worthless.
You might be an expert on slightly obscure topics, but there might still be a demand for your knowledge. And like all products, obscure informational niches can sometimes be insanely profitable.
If you have zero competition within your niche, you’ll quickly gain a massive online following.
There are tons of different opportunities for creating informational products. But all informational products give you the same benefit: Passive income.
Passive income is a huge plus, and smart entrepreneurs are doing everything they can to get involved in these business opportunities.
Passive income means that once you finish doing the work, you continue to earn money without doing any further work. In other words, the money just keeps on rolling in, without you lifting a finger.
You only have to create informational products once. Once you’ve created your PDF, guide, or online course, you can sit back and market your product without any further work.
Spend time creating an informational product, and it might provide a steady income for many years into the future. This is especially true if you create information products that never get outdated. Focus on topics that will stay relevant for years to come.
If you’re passionate about sharing your expertise with the world, consider creating informational products for a great source of passive income, you can run from the comfort of your own home.
The trouble I’m having from listing all of these business models, however, include that of not being able to work yourself out of a job.
I really enjoy the power and leverage of digital billboards in the online lead generation method of entrepreneurship because passive income and time freedom are real benefits.
If I were to have quit my 9 to 5 corporate role to start one of these other options, I’d basically be switching employers – from someone else to myself.
• The hours would still belong.
• The expenses would be high.
• The time spent with the family would still be minimal.
• The labor-intensive hours spent figuring out how to solve problems (as the business owner) would still be great.
In fact, I’d still be tied to my labors and stop having a reliable income if I stopped working.
When you’re building digital assets that overpower valuable virtual real estate, you begin to establish precious assets that others may take an interest in.
Just like physical real estate, then, you now have a commodity that you can market and rent out for a monthly check.
For me, that would be upwards of a few grand per month – depending on the industry and city I’m servicing.
Our lead gen coaching program introduced me to all of this – and now I collect a massive $45,000 per month for simply owning more virtual billboards as I progress.
How many would you like to own if 45 lead gen sites give me this much?
6. Freelance Writing
Freelance writing is a very common choice for those who want to work from home. It’s reliable, easy to get into, and it could also be incredibly lucrative.
Freelancing, in general, isn’t quite the same as owning your own business. Technically, you’re still working for other people, and you’re trading your time for money. Some would argue that this is just another type of “job.”
While this might be true, the freelancing does offer you plenty of the benefits of working from home, and it offers the reliability that isn’t always possible with “true” home businesses.
When you start a business, there’s always a measure of risk involved.
Even if you’re not investing any money into a home business from the start, you’ll still be investing tons of time. There’s always the chance that the business will fail, and all that time will be wasted.
With freelancing, that same level of risk doesn’t exist. You’ll always get something in return for your work, and this means you’ll always have a steady source of income – as long as you can find work as a freelance writer.
Getting started could be challenging, as most companies ask for writing samples and examples of past published work. But then again, there are always opportunities for those who don’t have any experience.
These initial jobs might be low-paying, but you can quickly work your way up the ladder with more lucrative clients as time goes on. Earning six figures or more is totally feasible as a freelance writer, and there are many success stories within this industry.
You might find yourself working full-time hours with this job. On the surface, this might not be a huge change from a typical “nine to five.” But freelancing has plenty of the same benefits of running a business from home.
You still get to set your own hours, be your own boss, and work from home. You can also choose who you work for, and which projects you take.
While certain clients might give you direction and set deadlines, they’re not really your “bosses” per se.
At any point, you can choose to stop working for them and take other jobs instead.
This is in contrast to a traditional “job,” in which you’re often completely dependent on whichever company you’re working for.
All in all, freelance writing is a solid, dependable choice for anyone who wants to work from home. While it might not be the same as running your own business, the income potential is still pretty decent, and there’s overall risk involved.
7. Arts and Crafts
If you love to create and you’re highly artistic, then you might consider a home business that revolves around arts and crafts.
Creating your own products is easy if you’re highly passionate and inspired about the items you’re creating. If you create some highly interesting and innovative arts and crafts, you can easily sell them online or in person for high-profit margins.
Etsy is probably the leading eCommerce platform for selling arts and crafts. You can sell pretty much any handmade item on this platform, from candles to soap and even dried flowers.
The possibilities are endless.
Even if you’re not artistically gifted, there are plenty of easy to make crafts that you can mass-produce for profit. You might consider making candles or soap, which are both easy to make products. After doing a little research and practicing for a few hours, it’s easy to perfect your production methods and start making these simple products at home.
This is a great business idea for someone who wants to have fun while making money at the same time. If you want to mix your new home business with an interesting hobby, perhaps arts and crafts are the best choices for you.
8. Social Media Management
Social Media Management is absolutely booming right now.
Social media is emerging as one of the most effective and profitable marketing methods out there, and countless companies are rushing to master the art of Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms.
The problem is simple: Most of these companies have no idea what they’re doing. And because of this, they’re all turning to Social Media Management companies to handle it for them.
That’s where you come in.
Establish a social media management company, and you’ll provide results and increased sales to these companies by developing effective marketing strategies.
You’ll need a solid understanding of the various social media platforms, especially the most common and popular ones.
Start small and focus on local companies who will invest a little extra cash on their social media strategies. As you gain more clients, you’ll learn how to provide real results to your clients. Eventually, you’ll take on large brands and massive companies as clients, and the real money will start rolling in.
Out of all the home businesses we’ve listed here, social media management probably has some of the highest potentials for profit and overall income.
That being said, this business requires some real technical skills. You might need to use bots, third-party apps, and other social media tools to push your service to its limits.
You might also need to take an online course or two, especially if you’re completely new to this industry.
You can’t really dive into this business without much preparation. You can’t “wing it,” as there are many other companies trying to get into this industry, and you’ll deal with some stiff competition. In order to succeed in this industry, you’ll need to be incredibly professional.
But if you’re looking for an interesting, highly technical challenge, then starting a social media management company could be the perfect choice for your new home business.
9. Write eBooks
Technically, this business idea falls under the category of both “informational products” and “freelance writing.” But writing eBooks is a unique business model that really deserves its own section.
Plenty of entrepreneurs have earned significant funds through writing eBooks, and it’s another excellent source of passive income.
Once you write your eBook, it’ll continue to earn you money every single month.
Of course, it’s not that easy.
In order to write a truly profitable eBook, you need to work pretty hard.
Sure, excellent writing skills are important, but that’s only part of the overall process.
You should also research your topics carefully and figure out which books are trending right now.
Amazon Kindle allows you to search through various categories and figure out the best-selling topics in each genre, so that’s a pretty good place to start.
While fiction seems to be the most popular genre in the eBook world, non-fiction might be a great choice if you have expert knowledge of a particular topic.
Writing a non-fiction book is similar to a business based around informational products – it’s just another way to turn your knowledge into dollar bills.
Consider writing a “how-to” book, or a book that shares your real experiences and stories with a particular subject.
Marketing is also very important. Once you write your book, it might be tempting to simply sit back and wait for the profits to roll in. But investing a few hundred dollars into a solid marketing campaign might make all the difference.
You should also find a talented artist to create an interesting cover for your book. This helps your book catch the eye of potential readers.
If you’ve always wanted to write a book, now’s a good a time as any. Self-publishing allows just about anyone to create their own book and start making money.
Devoting just a few hours per day to your new book should be enough to finish it up in a few months. Like every other business idea that we’ve discussed here, this shouldn’t feel like a chore.
Unless you truly enjoy writing and getting creative, you should probably avoid this business altogether.
Although the potential for passive income might sound attractive to many of our readers, it’s useless unless you’re truly motivated to write.
If you don’t enjoy writing, you’ll soon get sick of it within a few weeks, and you’ll never finish your book.
Of course, you could always compensate ghostwriters for writing your books for you…
But this gets expensive fast.
We’re focusing home businesses without large investments here.
All in all, writing an eBook could be a fun and rewarding way to earn great passive income from home.
YouTube isn’t quite as profitable as it used to be – nor is it as friendly towards new channels.
Policy changes have made it quite difficult to start a new channel and reaching the crucial 10,000 subscribers mark is a serious undertaking with recent tweaks to the algorithm.
But while YouTube might favor older, more established channels, you still have a chance of success with this insanely popular online income method.
New people start YouTube channels every single day, and some of them become profitable and massively successful.
If you don’t try it yourself, you’ll never know whether or not it’s possible.
Most people rely on AdSense for their YouTube income, but there are plenty of other ways to earn solid money with your YouTube channel.
Affiliate marketing is a great option, and sponsored posts have real income potential.
You might also consider selling merchandise or creating your own products.
These alternate income options really help when you’re still struggling to get views and reach 10,000 subscribers.
Why is 10,000 such a crucial number for YouTubers?
Because after you reach this stage, the algorithm starts to favor your videos, making it much easier to get new subscribers and spread your videos to a wider audience.
Watch time is also a factor, but most YouTubers focus on raising subscribers as quickly as possible.
Another important factor is picking the right niche.
There are many YouTube channels out there, and tons are fighting for the same audiences.
The gaming community is massive, and this niche is completely oversaturated.
Fashion, sports, and makeup/beauty are also very popular and competitive niches.
Just like blogging or social media, it might be a better idea to focus on a slightly obscure niche.
When you target these obscure niches and topics, you’ll lock down a decent audience with relatively little competition.
Many YouTubers create videos for years before seeing any real money.
But the ones who are successful never give up.
They continue to make videos no matter what because they’re truly passionate about YouTube as a hobby and as a creative outlet.
Keep this in mind if you decide to create a YouTube channel.
Money shouldn’t be your main focus on this business.
The most important thing is creating interesting content and having fun as you create videos.
If you’re not having fun, you’ll dread the thought of making a new YouTube video every week. As the years go by, it’ll be very hard to keep your channel alive.
Approach this business as an enjoyable hobby, and you’ll never feel like you’re wasting time. Stick with it, and you’ll start to see a solid income eventually.
Like all businesses, starting a YouTube channel requires passion. But if you’re seriously motivated and committed to this venture, the rewards could be astronomical.
The time is now.
Break free from the shackles of your “nine to five,” and start your own home business today.
Quitting your job is hard. We get it. You’re taking a massive leap of faith and saying goodbye to a dependable source of income.
Even though you might hate your job, it still puts food on the table.
And at the end of the day, there’s no guarantee your new home business will provide in the same way.
That’s why it might be a good idea to switch gears rather than jumping straight in gradually.
Start building the foundation of your home business while you still have your day job.
You’ll need to work around the clock during these stages as you basically work two jobs at once.
But this is still a great way to ensure you’re actually earning money with your home business before you become fully committed.
Some entrepreneurs might even choose to keep their day jobs indefinitely, running home businesses on the side for extra income.
This is definitely possible, and many of the ideas we’ve mentioned might be specifically well-suited to this approach.
Working from home is definitely a great feeling, and we want you all to experience it for yourselves.
Once you know what it feels like, you’ll never want to go back.
You’ll be inspired to work harder and achieve new heights with your business – because it’s yours.
Just carve out your own identity and build something based on your own dream – not someone else’s.
Don’t miss out on this chance.
Laptops Harness the Power for Passive 6 Figure Income Lifestyles with Local Lead Generation in 2019
I know that many people try to promote the ideas of self-employment with…
• Shiny objects.
• Expensive homes and/or cars.
• Stacks of cash or flashy bank accounts.
Entrepreneurship can be a challenge for people no matter which way the cookie is cut.
Especially for newbies – they’re learning a new skill set which they, then, will attempt to market to acquire a base of clientele for themselves.
Of all the work you’re putting in upfront, wouldn’t you also like to know that there’s a day that can come when you can sit back and sip a cold beverage while money just comes to you?
I know that’s what I had envisioned and ambitiously searched for in my prospective efforts for a credible business opportunity from home.
Local Lead Generation is exactly where my search rested because the passive income and low maintenance requirements were exactly what I was looking for.
In fact, this business is extremely simple when you think about it:
• Build and rank a digital billboard.
• Let it power itself through free traffic from search results 24/7 and make you money.
• Expand your empire with more of these pieces of virtual real estate to augment your current monthly profits.
My limo lead gen site is a prime example of this; it’s the first one I’ve ever done to service a rental industry in Lansing, Michigan:
At $750 per month, I’m not going to get mad at my money when it certainly didn’t take me that much to start this project.
I actually own multiple versions of this in several cities across North America…
They’re all paying me close to a grand a piece, and I don’t have to pay advertising costs since I’m not leveraging paid advertising in order to acquire the web traffic necessary.
This is a simple lead gen site too; you can see it for yourself…
Click on the highlighted words to further explore how our local lead gen coaching program can teach you exactly what I know to build your first $10k from a laptop.
Before you know it, you could find yourself having the time freedom…
And entrepreneurial capacity…
To give yourself more vacation time while still receive checks in the mail from the referrals passed over to business owners by your digital billboards…
The more you own, the more you stand to make in nearly 100 percent profits.
Plus, our coaching program can show you how to automate everything, so you can work even less than I’ve already illustrated.
